Pastor Mary Butler-Loring
I am a born in the womb United Methodist and grew up in a parsonage. My father was a United Methodist pastor in Indiana, and my mother was his partner in ministry. I love church and loved my family. Speaking of family, I have two adulting children, Eric and Edmund. Eric lives in Lansing with his fiancé, Ashley Beattie, and Edmund lives in Grand Rapids.
My passion is to connect people to the love of God and to help them feel a sense of love and belonging. I truly believe the welcome I speak each Sunday, Dixboro United Methodist Church welcomes people from all walks of life, families of all shapes and sizes, from every point along the spiritual pathway so that whoever you are, whoever you love, whatever you believe whether you believe anything at all, you are welcome here because our welcome is wide, and our table is long.
