Children's Ministry @ Dixboro UMC
Children are important at Dixboro UMC. We want to partner with families in teaching children about God’s welcoming love. Luke 18:16-17 says, “Then Jesus called for the children and said to the disciples, ‘Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it’” (New Living Translation). When we bring our children to Worship, Sunday School, and other programs we are encouraging them to know about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Dixboro Church family is here to provide a welcoming and loving atmosphere where a child’s faith journey can be nurtured.
Children in Worship is essential to the faith journey of our children and to all of us. Worship is children learning how to worship by worshipping with the congregation. On the flip side, if children aren’t present here with us, we miss out too! Without children, the body of Christ is incomplete. We need everyone present to complete the circle at God’s Table. By participating in worship, children:
Sunday School:
During Sunday School we offer two classes including nursery care. 1st through 5th will meet upstairs and our Preschool (ages 3) to Kindergartners will meet in the nursery. Each year we need a new Sunday School form filled out. Fill it out here.
Nursery Care:
Nursery care is available during Worship for infants through 6 years old. Look at our nursery.
