Come As You Are - Scripture Study - Adult Sunday School 9:45 am - 10:15 am July 27th - Spencer BeMent Memorial Service The Memorial Service for Spence BeMent will be held on Saturday, July 27th, at 11 am. Please plan to join family and friends for a luncheon, in the Fellowship Hall, after the service. August 24 Habitat for Humanity Workdays Set Mark your calendars! DUMC’s Habitat for Humanity work day for the year has been set. We will need 4-5 people on Saturday August 24th. We will need someone to help coordinate and provide lunch on that Saturday (in coordination with our partner churches). Please let Randy Hucks know if you would like to participate. Please Volunteer to be a Greeter on Sunday Mornings We need volunteers to greet our congregation on Sunday mornings. We need friendly faces at the Coffee Station and at the entrance to the Sanctuary from 10:10 am until 10:30 am, when the service begins. Say “hello” and “We’re glad that you’re here!” You would also answer directional questions as people enter the church. If you’re interested in becoming a Greeter, please contact Marilyn Pobanz. Kids for Community - Volunteers are needed to help with crafts and games on Friday, 8/2, 3pm- 9 pm and on Saturday, 8/3, 12pm-6pm Donations Needed for Kids for Community-Build-A-Birthday Cake kits We need the following supplies: Cake mixes & frosting (must be store bought), Candles, Birthday Plates, Balloons and Streamers. SAVE the DATE: 200th Year Anniversary of Dixboro Events planned for August 2,3, and 4, 2024 on the Village Green Washtenaw Rides for Older Adults - Now Open to the Community Washtenaw Rides for Older Adults is now open for rides. This program provides no-cost transportation to Washtenaw County Residents ages 60+ who need transportation to medical care, health care, and food access (grocery store, pantry, etc.) How can someone use the program?
